Mediation & Arbitration Services

Resolve Legal Disputes Cost-Effectively and Efficiently

After more than twenty years as a litigator, Laura Bonander recognizes that resolving disputes outside of the courtroom can be advantageous for many individuals. In addition to her traditional litigation practice, Laura is a mediator and arbitrator registered with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. She offers her mediation and arbitration services as an alternative to litigation. Avoiding or shortening litigation by utilizing alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods is often a cost-effective and efficient way to achieve a desirable outcome for the parties to a dispute.

Laura is uniquely qualified to mediate and arbitrate a wide range of legal issues due to more than two decades of diverse legal experience. She began her legal career clerking for a federal district court judge and assisted him in handling a wide variety of matters. She then practiced complex business litigation at Sutherland (now Eversheds Sutherland) before working in the civil division of the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia. For the past 12 years, Laura’s litigation practice has focused on fiduciary litigation, such as trust and estate litigation and business litigation. She is skilled at quickly digesting a large amount of information, accurately discerning the key issues while never losing sight of details critical to the case and coming up with creative solutions to problems.
